In Microsoft Excel 2007, you can enable any image in your workbook in a different form than what it is. The "Image Format" button can be used to turn your image into anything from a basic shape to a legend. Follow the steps below to learn how to set the shape of an image in Microsoft Excel.
Instructions
1.Start Microsoft Excel 2007, and then open a workbook that contains an image in a form that you want to modify or start a new workbook insert of an image that is being changed to a shape.
2.Select the image you want to change the shape by clicking on it. The picture is surrounded by white handles as soon as it is activated.
3.Select the Format tab at the top of the Excel screen. This displays the Ribbon Format, which contains the formatting settings for images in Excel.
4.Click the small arrow to the right of the Image Shape button. Showing all the shapes you can apply to the selected image will bring up a drop-down menu.
5.Decide which shape you want to apply to the image and click to apply it. You will see that the selected image will be changed immediately to become the shape you have chosen.

You can also specify the shape of multiple images at the same time. Press the "Shift" key on your keyboard and click on all the images you want to transform in the same way.
