Instructions
1.Sign in to your Gmail.com Gmail account.2.Click the gear icon in the top right corner of your Gmail next to your Gmail address and choose "Email Settings."
3.Select "Accounts." In the "Send Mail As" section, click "Add another email address that you own." A new window appears.
4.Enter your Google Apps name in the "Name" text box and your Google Apps email address in the "Email Address" text box. Click on "Next step".
5.Click the "Send Via Your Domain SMTP Server" radio button option to send emails in Gmail, using your Google Apps email address as the sender to enable.
6. Enter the SMTP server name as "smtp.gmail.com" and select TLS / STARTTLS port number 587 or 465 for SSL. Select the option "Secure connection via TLS (recommended)" if you use TLS or "Secure connection via SSL" you select SSL.
7. Enter your Google Apps email address in the Username field. Click the "Edit Password" link to open a text box and enter your Google Apps account password. Click Save Changes".
8.Click Submit Confirmation to verify that Google has your Google Apps email address. Google will send a verification email to this address. Click "Cancel" to cancel the process or "Back" to return to the previous page.
9.Sign in to your Google Apps email account using your current POP client. Look for the verification e-mail. Click the link in the email to confirm your Google Apps email address. Your Google Apps email account is now linked to your Gmail account. You can now email to your Gmail account with your Google Apps email address as the sender.
Tips & Warnings
If you do not see the Gmail verification email in your Google Apps inbox, check the "spam" box to see if it's there.To use Gmail to send Google Apps e-mail to your e-mail address, select it in the "From:" drop-down menu when composing a new message.
